You can use an empty envelope or bag to store the plucked feathers. Clearly label the bird species and ring number.

Described bag
For the examination, five to seven feathers are needed, preferably from the bird’s chest. Lost (molting) feathers are unsuitable! When plucking the feathers, do not touch the shaft (the end of the feather that emerges from the bird’s skin) with your hands. Therefore, place them directly in the pre-written empty envelope/bag.

Then print out an order form. If this isn’t possible, a written piece of paper will do. Make sure the information is complete (name, address, city, phone number, bird species, ring number, date, and signature). The payment method and a phone number are especially important!

Please also remember to number the envelopes for multiple samples and mention this on the order form.

Then place the envelope with the pulled-out feathers in an envelope with the completed order form. Postage must be applied and sent to GENDIKA, P.O. Box 40, 9640 AA, VEENDAM.

During the ordering process, you can indicate whether or not you want to receive a certificate with the results. If you choose not to receive certificates, you will only receive an analysis report with the results by email.

Once we receive your order, we’ll send you an email confirmation. This lets you know we’ve received your order, and you can check the information. As soon as the results are available, we’ll email you the results. This is usually within one to two business days. You’ll then receive an analysis report with certificates by mail (unless you’ve indicated you don’t want to receive certificates), containing the results.
