For various animal species, it is possible to perform a parentage analysis to determine who the parents of a young animal are. This analysis requires DNA samples from the young animal and the potential parents. Please note that you purchase one parentage analysis per animal. For example, if you want to determine whether one young animal is the offspring of two suspected parents (mother/father), you will pay 3 × €45.38, which means the total cost is €136.14. However, it is not possible to determine whether two animals are siblings using parentage analysis, unless the presumed parents are known.
